To the Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan.

Dear comrades,

In memory and grief over the death of Comrade Zia, Serve the People – Communist League of Norway greets the Central Committee of the Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan, the leaders, cadres and militants, the proletarians and masses that struggle under its leadership.

Comrade Zia, as founding chairman of your Party, the vanguard of the proletariat of Afghanistan and the heroic popular masses of this country, died from a heart attack at the age of 68. We know his heart was always beating for the revolution and for the proletariat. His heartbeats will forever pulsate in the struggle for the Party and for the World Proletarian Revolution. He gave his life to the revolution, to the party, to the proletarian and popular struggle, for new democracy, socialism and shining communism. His life and work changed the web of matter and relations in this world forever. Comrade Zia is immortal.

The communists and revolutionaries of Norway send our profound greetings to the toiling masses of Afghanistan. The imperialist old state of Norway has for decades participated in the yankee occupation and intervention in Afghanistan. We condemn the imperialists, and we salute the resistance!

In the face of occupation, heroic fighters of the peoples of Afghanistan have risen against imperialism. We know this to be the preludium to the Glorious People’s War in Afghanistan, the war of the masses that will be waged under the direction of the Communist Party, under the banner of Maoism. In this People’s War, we know Comrade Zia will be marching in the eternal columns of the martyrs of the International Communist Movement.

Long live Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, principally Maoism!
